Dr. Dee Barker, affectionately known as Dee, is married to her favorite pastor/teacher, mentor and best friend, Dr. Coy Barker, Senior Pastor and Founder of Metro World Outreach Center.  Devoted to the vision of the ministry, she Co-Pastors with her husband and assists with a variety of duties to assure that his God-given mandate is carried out.

Dr. Dee is the founder of Steppin’ Out Ladies, a network developed to empower women from all walks of life to step out, embrace and enjoy a life of wholeness, healing and restoration.  Her destiny is to challenge women of worth to become Stepping’ Out Ladies Transformed through Energetic, Passionate Praise Influencing Nations.  The teachings of Dr. Dee inspire and challenge women to recognize their true identity, value and purpose in life.  She is a strong leader, anointed and uncompromising teacher of the Word of God, and a lover of excellence.  Additionally, she has authored several devotional books which have blessed the lives of thousands in the Body of Christ.  Being a passionate worshipper, she leads God’s people into His presence through praise & worship on a weekly basis, and has recorded a CD at the TBN Studios.

In December, 2007, Dee was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Christian Life School of Theology.  She attended and graduated from The King’s Academy, a private Christian school, excelling in music, followed by two years of college at Palm Beach Atlantic University, majoring in business and law.  Her education has been a great facilitator in her ability to relate to, and understand women.  God has blessed her with a son who is the absolute joy of her life, two beautiful daughters and four wonderful grandchildren.
